Welcome to a new show about name trading. I’ve got some odd video compression difficulties which I’m working on solving before I start pushing out videos to you guys, so until I can crack that nut, you’re going to have to absorb the written word. Once those issues are resolved, it’s my goal to produce daily video commentary (~5-10 minutes) focusing on a domain name that I think might possibly make a great investment for DEVELOPMENT.

[UPDATE: 09082009] Little did I know after turning my attention to the hyper-inflated world of domain pricing that my daily research functions have become nothing more than “dumpster diving”. The quantity of trash that exists on the majority of auction house lists is astounding. At the time of this writing, I happen to be scrolling through the $4,000+ names distributed by Snapnames.com and not a single one of the 16,096 names is worth their asking price. But the more I immerse myself into the culture of this unique industry, the more I’m beginning to understand that my perception is shared among the more rational internet property developers.
